Val and José joined brothers Cristobal Cintrón and Rafael Cintrón and their ensemble at a special fundraising gala event in West Palm Beach, FL. This is the fourth time the four brothers have collaborated. Los Cintrón are widely acclaimed as the best Gypsie Kings tribute band in the United States.

A busy June it was for the Val Ramos Flamenco Ensemble as they performed two shows at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas (2014 edition) in the New Haven Green on June 24! The first show featured the instrumental ensemble on the main Elm Street Stage (their fourth appearance at the Festival), followed by a traditional “cuadro Flamenco” show at the Family Stage.Chris Arnott take on this year’s edition of the festival includes some rave reviews of the Val Ramos Flamenco Ensemble’ performances! VAL RAMOS GIVES MASTER CLASS AS GUEST ARTIST IN RESIDENCE AT THE LITCHFIELD JAZZ CAMP
On July 24, 2013, Flamenco guitar master Val Ramos was featured as guest artist in residence at the Litchfield Jazz Camp in Kent, Connecticut, where he worked with various student ensembles and gave a master class on Flamenco history and culture and Flamenco guitar technique and forms. At the end of the master class he was joined by Camp faculty for an impromptu jam session!
